Created by talented Wiradjuri artist, Amanda Hinkelmann, this piece is inspired by a traditional Wiradjuri love story, and features a deep, earthy colour palette of mustard, ochre, and brown tones, highlighted with white accents.

This painting shares a traditional Wiradjuri love story. The story of two young lovers, Pomingalana and Gobbagombalin, from different tribes and opposite sides of the river, who had fallen into a forbidden love.
