Q: Are all items in stock that are on the Vavoom Website?

We try hard to make sure that the huge range listed on the website is available to purchase however some ranges sell out quickly or require pre-ordering with lead-times between 4 - 16 weeks depending on the item and the range.

We ship direct from our suppliers to you so if you would like to check the stock prior to ordering, please email us or call us on 1300 577 079.  We do not carry the stock. Some items are limited edition or hard to find so may go out of stock suddenly. 

Q: Does Vavoom have a retail outlet/showroom or somewhere to view the items? 

Yes. We have a small showroom where we have carefully selected a small range of products that can be viewed and often purchased.

Unfortunately we are unable to display all products in our showroom that is listed on the website as we have thousands of items available online.

If you are looking to view a particular item, it is suggested you call us prior to check what we have in the showroom to view. We change the stock in the showroom on a regular basis with new items coming in all the time.

Q: What payment methods are available?

Mastercard, Visa, Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), Direct Debit.

The above methods of payment are available over the phone also for your conveniance.

Q: How secure are my online payments?

Very secure. Our products are processed through eWAY®, who provides world class security to protect your online transaction. 

Using military grade software, servers and encryption to protect your data and adhere to Tier 1 PCI DSS standards, which means that we hold ourselves to the highest possible standards set by Visa and MasterCard.  

Q: How much is the cost of delivery?

Delivery is FREE to metropolitian Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide. If there are specific requirements a fee may be charged.

To non-metro areas in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide we highly subsidise the cost of your delivery and offer you a flat rate of $49. 

Outside of these areas and states, please contact us for freight quotes. We offer great delivery services at low costs.

Q: How long before I receive my purchased items?

99% of orders are delivered within 7-14 working days if items are in stock. 

For WA, NT and Tasmania please allow 14 - 21 days approximately.

Q: Are my products dispactched from your St Kilda store?

To expediate the delivery process, our products are normally sent directly from our suppliers warehouses to your home. 

If you live locally you may request items to be delivered to the Vavoom showroom in St Kilda Melbourne for your collection if that is more suitable.

Q: Is it necessary for me to be home to receive my delivery?

To ensure that your items are delivered safely to your delivery address it is advisable to have someone present to check and sign for the goods. Your contact details and phone number are given to the carrier company and they are requested to contact you in advance and advise you of the anticipated date and approximate time of your delivery. This is the general rule of thumb with freight companies - unless specific instructions are given that item can be left without a signature someone will need to be available to take delivery.

Couriers will often leave a card for you to call and arrange a re-delivery.

We will advise who is delivering to you at the time of dispatch and options available.

Q: What do I do if the item is damaged?

We recommend that you unpack the product upon receipt and inpsect thoroughly. If the items are damaged please make the appropriate notes on the delivery card before signing it and ask the driver to initial your remarks. Please include any obvious damages to the packaging or boxing as well as sounds of broken material such as glass, mirror or timber. 

Our stockists and carrier companies require photographs indicating the damage to the item, as well as a brief email describing damage to the item, including other relevant infomation (such as damage to packaging).

Please contact us within 24 hours of receipt of goods, either via phone 1300 577 079 or email lisa@vavoom.com.au. It is important that you report failty or damaged goods within 24 hours of receiving the goods.

Q: What happens if I have not chosen well?

Unfortunately our stockists will not accept return of goods on the premise of "I don't like it". We at Vavoom attempt to provide you with as much information about the product and with clear images so that your decision is an informed one. Feel free to call or email us with any questions or queries so we can help you make an informed decision.

Q: Can I see additional images of a product? 

Images on the Vavoom website are generally provided by our stockists. Additional photos are not always available although we will always do our best to provide you with the best images possible and real photo's where we can.
